I spent my afternoon in a studio taping session. I always love how you can paint a scene for the video camera that creates the illusion of being in some place different than you really are. We use our conference room for our studio so it’s always cluttered with chairs, tables, TV’s and other things. But with a clever use of angles, lighting and camera placement we turn it in to warm inviting space perfect as a background to any scene. In reality cables, lights, tripods, cameras and monitors surround the small bubble of space created by the camera angle and the talent.
These are fun days - it’s lovely having a job where they pay you to watch and make TV!
