First Blueberries of the Season We planted some new blueberry bushes this year in the garden. We’d planted two a few years back but they never did well so after talking with the nursery we were advised to plant a few more so that they can better cross pollinate. We really won’t know until next year how well that works out for our now four blueberry bushes because these were already pretty loaded with berries when we bought them but it sure is nice to be able to pull in a big pile of berries fresh from the garden! Even better is that these ripen right as the strawberry bed stops producing! Yum! High-res
